Day 01: Arrive Cochin
Arrive Cochin airport in the morning.

Welcome to Kerala!!

Kerala is a beautiful coastal state located on Southwest coast of India and known as The God’s Own Country. Famous for its lovely backwater, lagoons, lakes, canals and coconut palm trees, Kerala is one of the most sought tourist destinations in India. Cochin (Kochi) is a commercial capital of Kerala and one of the finest backwaters destination in Kerala.

You will be well received on your arrival at the Cochin airport and transfer to hotel.

Check in @ 12h00 (early check-in is subject to availability). 

In the afternoon, proceed for city tour of Cochin, visiting historic Jewish Synagogue (remains closed on Fridays & Saturdays), Portuguese built “The Mattanchery Palace” or Dutch Palace (remains closed on Fridays)- an amazing museum, the Church of St Francis- within which is the Tomb of Vasco da Gama and other attractions of Fort Cochin.

In the later afternoon, proceed for a Sunset boat cruise around Cochin harbour and visit Chinese fishing nets of Cochin, which are fixed land installations for an unusual form of fishing.

In the evening, proceed to witness the famous Kathakali Dance performance, which is about 400 years old dance drama of Kerala that narrates the events of India’s religious epic- The Ramayana and the Mahabharata. The main aspect of Kathakali is its elaborate make-up and unusual costumes.
Overnight in Cochin.

Day 02: Cochin/ Athirampally (85Kms & 2hrs drive)
After breakfast at hotel, drive towards Athirampally.

Athirapally is famous for its amazing Athirampally and Vazhachal waterfalls and of course, its natural beauty. It is really a great place just to relax..which is full of peace and tranquility. It is  surrounded by waterfalls, wild fruits and wildlife including elephants, leopards, deer, monkeys and many species of birds etc. 

Arrive Athirampally and check into your hotel.

In the arternoon visit the famous Athirpally Waterfall and Vazhachal Waterfall. 
Overnight in Athirampally.

Day 03: Athirampally- excursion to Guruvayur
After breakfast at hotel, proceed for day excursion to Guruvayoor, which is one of the most sacred and important pilgrim centres in Kerala and famous for its Sree Krishna Temple.

You can also have an experience of elephant ride here.

Return in the evening.
Overnight in Athirampally.

Day 04: Athirampally/ Wayanad (260Kms & 6-7hrs drive)
After breakfast at hotel, drive to Sultan Battery, Wayanad.

Wayanad is a picturesque town in the Western Ghat at an altitude of about 2000Mtr above sea level. Wayanad is an undiscovered tourist destination offering breathtaking view of its natural beauty with its tropical rain forests, lovely hills, beautiful paddy fields and spice plantations.

Arrive Wayanad and check in your hotel.
Rest of the day at leisure.
Overnight in Wayanad.

Day 05: Wayanad
After breakfast at hotel, proceed for a guided trek in the Wayanad sanctuary, where you can spot the wild animals like sloth bears, sambhar (wild deer), elephants, monkeys, tigers, reptiles, deer, panthers and many more.

In the afternoon, proceed to visit Kuruva Island- an uninhabited island in the middle of the expansive Kabini River. This island is really isolated is a must see destination for nature lovers. It is a perfect destination for those who are looking for silence and want to be away from city crowd.
Overnight in Wayanad.

Day 06: Wayanad
After breakfast at hotel, proceed to visit the 3000 year old Thirunelly temple, which is dedicated to Lord Vishnu.

Rest of the afternoon at leisure to walk around the village to see the local village life.
Overnight in Wayanad.

Day 07: Wayanad/ Tellicherry (160Kms & 4hrs drive)
After breakfast at hotel, drive to Tellicherry.

Tellicherry (Thalassery) is a fishing town in the north of Calicut, which is famous for the 3C's- Circus, Cricket and Cakes. It is one of the first British settlement in Kerala and famous for its natural beauty. It has many beautiful small hills, rivers and breathtaking views along its long coastline. British came to this place for establishing their trading facilities. They exported spices from here like cardamom, pepper and cinnamon to various European countries. Tellicherry was an important port for trading and military purposes during British period. 

Arrive Tellicherry and check in to your hotel. 
In the evening, enjoy the colorful Theyyam dance in the local temple.
Overnight in Tellicherry.

Day 08: Tellicherry
After breakfast at hotel, proceed to visit the ancient fort built by the British. You can also visit an imposing Muzhipillangad Beach, where you can drive along miles of virgin white sands and be fascinated by the beauty of this place.

Rest of the evening at leisure or take part in a cookery demonstration in your hotel. 
Overnight in Tellicherry.

Day 09: Tellicherry/ Neeleshwar (150kms & 4hrs drive)
After breakfast at hotel, drive to Neeleshwar.

Neeleshwar is a typical Kerala village set in the secluded palm grove beside Arabian sea. Neeleshwaram is actually one of the names of Lord Shiva that denotes the land of Lord Siva. It is a perfect place for nature lovers and for those looking for relaxation for about a week.

Arrive Neeleshwar and check in to your hotel. 
Rest of the day at leisure.
Overnight in Neeleshwar.

Day 10: Neeleshwar
After breakfast at hotel, proceed for a cycling tour of Neeleshwar and you will enter a beautiful world of paddy fields, garden compounds, shrines, temples and mosques and follow a lovely coastline along which lie traditional fishing villages where you can see boats and nets are made and repaired. 
Overnight in Neeleshwar.

Day 11: Neeleshwar
Breakfast at hotel and rest of the day at leisure to visit around the village or take part in the cookery class. 
Overnight in Neeleshwar.

Day 12: Neeleshwar/ Calicut (160Kms & 4hrs drive)
After breakfast at hotel, drive to Calicut (Kozhikode).

Calicut is a historical town and it was an important port for trade and commerce during British time. It was the site of the Portuguese navigator Vasco Da Gama, where he first landed in India in 1498 with three vessels and 170men. It was later occupied by Portuguese, British, French and Danish trading colonies. Here is a monument constructed to commemorate the historical landing of Vasco Da Gama. 

Arrive Calicut and check in to your hotel.

Rest of the day at leisure to enjoy a relaxing full body Ayurvedic massage- on extra payment. 
In the evening visit Hindustan Kalari Sangam, which imparts training in ‘Kalaripayattu’ the martial art of Kerala.
Overnight in Calicut.

Day 13: Calicut/ Fly Back Home
